So, the dust has now settled on what was once again a superb event at Futurebuild and we were overwhelmed with the response that TherraWood received at the exhibit.
We put a pin on those three days as an opportunity to, for the first time, fly the TherraWood flag in the United Kingdom by discussing the groundbreaking qualities of our products with industry peers.
We are so glad we did.
We left feeling inspired, and confident that the work we are doing can have a significantly positive impact on commercial building projects here on home soil.
The focus across the event was very much on the call for the built environment, and the industries that contribute towards it, to collaborate and tackle the major environmental and social issues we face together. Exhibiting hubs were established for Waste, Building, Energy, Interiors, Urban Infrastructure and Materials, which is where we were housed.
The Materials Hub was established to: “(Unite) the latest innovations, research and understanding in mainstream materials such as timber and concrete, alongside a spotlight on emerging alternatives, (and to) bring together the latest advances and expertise from across the sector.”
From our stand at E74 we were able to display the innovative TherraWood Hybrid solutions, as well as our commercial WPC decking, fencing and siding as environmentally friendly alternatives to common timber and plastics. It was also enjoyable to pop our heads into a couple of the Materials Hub seminars over the course of the event, particular highlights and takeaways coming from the sessions with the British Board of Agrément and Material Driven.
“FutureBuild came as a success for us as it was a great opportunity to showcase our latest innovative products to professionals in the construction industry.
We came away with many fantastic leads from architects & commercial construction companies to building merchants and self builders whom we endeavour to offer our full assistance & knowledge and look forward to working with in the near future.”TherraWood UK
